Pros and cons of Story Planner for Writers app for iPhone and iPad

Story Planner for Writers app good for

It helps me collecting ideas, when Im travelling. An export to PDF would be a nice extension.

This is still an ease of use app. And Ive figured out that the Scrivener and Final Draft aspects, are Project based, as a whole, exported, which suits me fine. While the individual sections, Character, Location, Scenes etc can be exported as txt or rtf, which suits me fine as well. The Icon is fixed in the latest update. Very nice! Now I just need an Object list, similar to Locations and Characters, but for weapons and or other items, handheld, wearable, or vehicles etc. And it would be great if we can add our own categories to be filled in. Example: For Characters: Name, Age, Role in Story etc, Id like to add my own set of categories, such as in the physical description section Id want it separated by body piece, Eyes: Colour? Number of? Glasses? Hair: Length, Colour, Style/Cut. Basically able to customize whats important to me. Same for Locations, the ability to add more detail, through customizable options would allow me, to describe a building in full, like say Castle In the Sky, Where Found on Map; floats above so and so, exterior. Then Castle in the Sky Interior, Kitchen, Dungeon, or Throne Room. Describe lighting, windows if any, seating arrangements. But then there are the Macro Locations, on a Galactic,Empire,Planetary/Realm scale etc.

I love this app for a few reasons. Its hard to find a free app that backs up your work automatically to the cloud. I have a very scattered 77 page draft and this app is helping me fill in my holes and create a well rounded, efficient , piece of writing. I only wish there was a desktop version so I could write on my phone when Im on the go and refine on my computer at home.

This app does exactly what it states and does it well. Its very easy to plan out characters, locations, and scenes. It even allows you to organize by act and chapter. The UI is simple, clean, and easy to write in. Backing up and importing with iCloud is easy and fast. 5/5 I have no complaints about this app so far.

Great app! It lets to write very accurately every details you think on the moment, everywhere you are. I suggest to add the option to add image to represent the characters, then it would be awesome

Some bad moments

This app has very interesting capacities, but there is a big saving issue. I lost parts of my work several times. Please correct this, and id happy really happy to use your app.

... I could not found how to delete a Project. To delete is essential.

This is a cute looking toy, but its not functional in any way that matters.

After update this apps dont work on ipad 2. I check it in my iphone 5s the same. Author Please fix it!

I love the look, feel, and easy use. Please add dropbox and/or icloud support. I would love to be able to go write on my ipad or computer and have this handy. Who knows you could turn this in to a full on writing app like storyist with sync and export to pages. The look is so new and easy to use.

This app really helps put all your jumbled thoughts in order great for storys and gming rpg
